Story and Mission

I came to a point in my life where I had nothing but a truck and a place to crash. Rather than sitting around wanting more or feeling sorry for myself I decided to put what I had to good use. I started advertising my services and excelled at simple pick ups and deliveries. I heard the same thing from customers time and time again: they were worried picking a random guy and a truck online. Things were going so well, I gave my service a name, built a website and came up with a mission to connect people who need a truck with someone who has one, and to do it in a safe way by running background checks. So today we bring you Craigstruck, the first and safest way to get a truck when and where you need it.

What is Craigstruck?
Craigstruck is a site where people who have a truck can register to be available for people who are in need of a truck. Craigstruck functions as an information distributor, getting the right information to the right people.
How does Craigstruck work?
Call or fill out the online form risk free. The next available driver calls you back the same day to work out the details. Once your merchandise has been delivered, you pay the mover the mover by cash or credit card.
Is it safe?
Craigstruck goes to great lengths to background check and ID the truck owners. This way you know exactly who is coming to assist you in your delivery.
How does the purchasing service work?
This is a pre-pay service. You must pre-pay through paypal both the delivery fee and the full price of the item you wish to purchase. Fill out the form or call the number - once you speak with your mover you will receive an invoice.
How many items is a sectional?
A sectional counts as 1 item (this is the number one question asked!).
Do I need 1 or 2 movers?
ALL ITEMS take 2 people to move. The 1 mover and a truck option is for those who can assist. If you are sending us to a retail location like Costco, they are always willing to load. If you are buying on craigslist many times the seller can help load. If you are able to help us unload then you only need 1 mover and a truck. If you are unable to assist order 2 movers and a truck.
How should I prepare for my mover to arrive?
It is best to have a clear path for the movers. Check behind doors to make sure they open all the way. If there are pictures on the wall or things on tables that may be knocked down, remove them so movers can move freely without knocking things over.
Do you deliver and install appliances?
Most movers can install and move sided by side non gas washer and dryers. And most movers can do smaller refrigerators without the water lines that simply plug in. For appliance delivery, please see appliancedelivery.com.
What types of trucks are there?
Most are just pickup trucks, in the future we plan to let the customer choose if they would like a cargo van, pickup truck or a large box truck.
When and how do I pay?
You do not pay until the job is complete. Your mover will give you the option of card or cash.
Will I receive a receipt?
Only if you use a debit or credit card. Your receipt will be issued through email or text message. You can request a handwritten receipt.
Should I tip?
It is not required that you leave a tip, about half of the customers do tip. Please use this as a guide tipthedeliveryguy.com
My item doesn’t fit!
In rare cases your item may not fit, though doors, up a staircase or in an elevator. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do and if a delivery attempt is made the movers must be paid. We will do our best to move your item in.
